Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced Confirmed as Steam Deck Verified G Trends

Ubisoft has confirmed that those of you who want to take off, wherever you are, will be covered. Indeed, the publisher announced that Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced would be verified by Steam Deck when it launches on July 9. It even looks like ray tracing and dynamic weather will work on the Steam Deck version.

In a blog post, Ubisoft wrote: “We’re so excited that you can play the game your way, and we’ve been busy making sure your journey through the Caribbean with Edward is comparable no matter how and where you choose to experience it. Not only does the game look great and run great on Steam Deck, but our developers have been hard at work on features like raytracing across all platforms, dynamic weather that looks fantastic, and a Caribbean remade from the ground up for modern platforms in mind.”

Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced was built from the ground up in the latest version of the Anvil engine by a global team led by Ubisoft Singapore – the studio behind Skull and Bones, and which originally developed naval combat for this era of Assassin’s Cred gaming. This promises to be a generally faithful remake, so it retains the parry-based combat instead of going for action RPG shenanigans, but it’s been sped up and made smoother. This is in addition to stealth which now includes crouching anywhere, parkour which has been refined, and deeper naval mechanics which give the Jackdaw new weapon upgrades. New story content is added for the three new teammates you can acquire – Lucy Baldwin, The Padre and Deadman Smith – and to expand existing storylines and characters. Other missions have also been changed, so follow-up missions don’t just desync if you’re spotted and simply fall back into combat.

Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Re-Synced Preview – What’s a Pirate’s Favorite Video Game?

In our Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced preview, Stefan said: “I had a great time with this return to Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced. This, for me, could be considered one of the best game remakes, from graphical improvements to gameplay and progression tweaks to a few new missions. Luckily, we don’t have that long to wait, as the game is set to launch on July 9, for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.”
