Bolivia and Scotland have confirmed their starting lineups for their international friendly match in New Jersey on Saturday.

Returning to the finals for the first time since 1998, the Tartan Army begins its campaign against Haiti next Saturday.

Bolivia beat Brazil to reach the play-offs for a place in the finals, but a 2-1 defeat by Iraq meant Oscar Villegas’ side missed out on their first appearance since 1994.

2026 World Cup preparations: Scotland’s full lineup against Bolivia

Scotland made six changes for their win over Curacao: Angus Gunn, Scott McTominay, Grant Hanley, Che Adams, Jack Hendry and Lewis Ferguson came on.

McTominay made his 70th cap for Scotland, while Tyler Fletcher was named to the bench after being called up to replace Billy Gilmour, the midfielder who suffered a knee injury in the win over Curacao.

The 19-year-old Manchester United player has been training with the team and made his debut as a first-half substitute at Hampden Park.

Craig Gordon returned from a shoulder injury last May and the 43-year-old played the first half of the match against Curacao but did not start this time.

John Souttar, Scott McKenna, Kenny McLean and George Hirst also move to the bench.

Middlesbrough striker Tommy Conway will miss the World Cup with an ankle problem, but Southampton striker Ross Stewart could make his first appearance for Scotland since 2022, having suffered a series of serious injuries between his last international appearance and January of this year.
