The insider adds that “trust issues between them” have made their relationship “difficult.”
“They tried to work on the marriage a few months ago, but it ultimately didn’t work out,” the source continues. “At some point Margaret lost her rose-colored glasses and felt like she had to take a step back.”

The insider notes that Antonoff, 42, had “expressed to friends” that “being married was difficult and that there were problems in the relationship.”
Qualley, 31, and Antonoff “have no plans to divorce yet,” the source says.

Qualley and Antonoff began dating in 2021 and got engaged the following year. The couple tied the knot in New Jersey in 2023.
