Adam Sandler enjoys his time on the East Coast.
Sandler, 59, was spotted playing basketball in Nantucket, Massachusetts, just two days after taking office Taylor Swift And Travis Kelce‘s wedding on Friday, July 3rd. According to the Nantucket Stream, The actor “stopped for a quick game of basketball on the court at Backus Lane.”
“Andrew Kesler told it Current that he and his friends were playing when Sandler pulled up in his car, got out and asked to be at the game,” the Current went on. He says, “Guys, let me stretch.” I’ll get in.’”
The ballplayer said that Sandler “had great passing and playmaking, good layups (but) was hesitant to shoot the ball.”

In one picture, Sandler was seen wearing neon green, pink and orange button-downs.
Sandler’s escape came just a few days later Us weekly confirmed that he officiated Swift, 36, and Kelce’s wedding at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
His daughters Sadie (20) and Sunny (17) have been Swifties since childhood. In August 2024, the actor told Kelce, 36, about his daughters’ love for Swift on an episode of his “New Heights” podcast.
“Taylor in our house, every tune, they knew every word,” Sandler shared at the time. “I loved listening to her in the car. I love what she had to say, every message, every melody, just the staging, how cool she was, what she meant to young girls, what she meant to women, what she meant to men who do the right thing in life.”
Sandler went on to say that his daughters had met Swift several times. “She means so much to my damn house,” he gushed.
Plus, the Just join in Star has been close friends with the bride and groom for years. He met Kelce in 2024 when the NFL player made a cameo appearance in Sandler’s film Happy Gilmore 2. In 2023, Sandler’s family attended the premiere of Swift’s in Los Angeles Epoch tour Concert film where she hugged Sadie and Sunny.
Last July, Sandler opened up to Entertainment tonight about his relationship with Kelce, saying, “Travis is such a gentle, nice guy and incredibly funny. He’s like the guys I grew up with. When I was with Travis, it reminded me of my friends in high school and being able to just laugh and say the things you wanted to say.”
