It seems strange, for some reason, but it’s Summer Games Fest next week, which promises to be a bonanza of game announcements, updates, and trailers. Still, I feel like the ramp-up is just a bit subdued this time around. I know the streams are coming, but I feel like we’re missing that big early announcement to really whet our appetites – Modern Warfare 4 doesn’t really count, because COD does it every year – and these last few weeks of big game releases have allowed me to focus more on the here and now than on what’s next.
There are much worse problems, so let’s go ahead and get to the news!
In the news this week
This is another major effort from Activision to revive COD with Modern Warfare 4, it seems.
