Fiorentina have signed Bournemouth full-back Alex Jimenez on loan with an option to make the deal permanent.
Jimenez joined Bournemouth from Milan on loan last summer, and the deal was converted permanently in February for 17 million pounds sterling. The Spaniard has signed a contract that runs until 2031.
However, Jimenez has been suspended by the club pending the outcome of an investigation into the social media allegations against him. He last played for Bournemouth in the 3-0 win over Crystal Palace on May 3.
Jimenez was dropped from Bournemouth’s first team following the home win over Palace due to what the club described as a “serious matter” relating to “posts circulating on social media”.
