The former Manchester United and Real Madrid star was visibly emotional on the bench as the match came to a close before later celebrating with his teammates, partner Georgina Rodriguez and his children.
It is the 36th cup in Ronaldo’s career and his first major title since joining Al-Nassr in 2023 after his departure from Manchester United.
Despite his prolific goalscoring record in Saudi Arabia, team silverware had previously eluded him during his time in the Middle East.
Ronaldo finished the league season with 28 goals in 30 matches, although he will miss the Golden Boot award for former Brentford striker Ivan Toney, who scored 32 goals for Al-Ahly in the league.
The Portugal captain will now turn his focus towards this summer’s World Cup, which could be the last major international tournament of his career.
