Tiger Woods returns to Instagram after announcing treatment G trends

Tiger Woods has returned to social media for the first time since announcing he wanted to seek treatment following his arrest in March.

“My father was a Special Forces operative with two tours in Vietnam and 20 years of service,” Woods, 50, wrote on his Instagram Story in celebration of Memorial Day on Monday, May 25. “To everyone like my father, we all say thank you for your sacrifices. Without them, we wouldn’t have the greatest country on earth.”

Tiger’s post comes amid speculation that he has flown back to Switzerland to continue his treatment after a brief return to his home in Florida. TMZ Sports reported on Sunday, May 24, that Tiger’s private plane had departed from Florida the night before and landed in Switzerland that morning.

He first announced he was seeking treatment on March 31, four days after a rollover car accident led to his arrest. Tiger pleaded not guilty to charges of drunk driving, criminal damage and refusing to take a lawful (urine) test

He first landed in Switzerland on April 3 to begin treatment and returned to Florida on May 13. A week later, Trump, 48, announced that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer.

“While this is not news anyone expects, I am working closely with my medical team on a treatment plan,” she wrote in a statement posted to Instagram on Wednesday, May 20. “I would like to thank my doctors for performing a procedure on me earlier this week. I remain focused and hopeful while surrounded by the love and support of my family, my children and those closest to me.”

Vanessa is the ex-wife of Donald Trump Jr., the eldest son of President Donald Trump. The two separated in 2018 and she and Tiger have been together since 2024.
