TikTok influencer Gabbie González and her father, Francisco Gonzálezwere arrested for a suspected murder plot against her ex-boyfriend, boy band Why Don’t We’s Jack Avery.
Legal documents were filed with the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office in Florida on Tuesday, May 19 and received by Us weeklyshowed that Francisco was arrested earlier that day for “conspiracy to commit murder.”
He was taken into custody following the arrest of 24-year-old Gabbie on Friday, May 15, in Humboldt County, California, when she was charged with “three felonies as part of an alleged conspiracy to kill” 26-year-old Avery, the father of her 7-year-old daughter TMZ.
In Francisco’s court filing, a witness claimed that Gabbie told him that a man “was paid to kill Avery and that Francisco Gonzalez paid approximately $10,000 for the murder.”
Us weekly has reached out to the Los Angeles Police Department and the LA District Attorney’s Bureau of Investigation for comment.
The filing also states that Avery was “involved in long-standing custody and visitation disputes” with Gabbie, and an investigation “shows that Francisco Gonzalez was deeply involved in the custody dispute and in efforts to discredit, monitor and remove Avery from his granddaughter’s life.”

Courtesy of Gabbie Gonzalez/InstagramThe alleged hitman was also questioned by police, who claimed Francisco sent him money “under the guise of web development payments and there was no actual web development work.” He also claimed that he communicated with Francisco via “encrypted signal messages and calls.”
Gabbie’s alleged involvement in the conspiracy was also detailed by the witness, who claimed she told him about her father’s plans. The witness claimed in the filing that “Gabriela Gonzalez repeatedly said she wanted Jack Avery dead and discussed hiring a hitman,” and further alleged that she and the hitman “talked about using the dark web and paying in Bitcoin” and that there was discussion of a “premeditated murder that took place in Los Angeles and was portrayed as a car accident.”
TMZ reported On Tuesday, he explained that in light of his ex’s arrest, Avery is now seeking court-ordered protection from her in addition to “sole legal and physical custody of their daughter.” He filed a restraining order against Gabbie on Tuesday, and the outlet reported the filing said his daughter “was living with a foster family after Gabbie was arrested on Friday.”
