REPO Cosmetic update is now available, check out the trendy patch notes G Trends

A few weeks ago, semiwork announced that the Cosmetic update for REPO would be released today, May 7th. Now it’s available, as are all the patch notes along with a launch trailer that gives a glimpse of what to expect. There’s plenty to find with over 500 cosmetic pieces to be found throughout the world of REPO. Patch notes can be found below the trailer.

REPO Cosmetic Update Patch Notes

  • Cosmetics – Over 500 cosmetic coins to unlock and use to express yourself! Find boxes around the world and mine them to get tokens to use in the shop!
  • Shop – New look, new environments, and a shopkeeper that can be activated to help keep the shop under control. Maybe even have new secrets…
  • Shop Upgrade Reroller – Pay to replace upgrades still on the shelf for a new selection!
  • New King of The Losers game mode – Race!
  • New Item – Semibot Walkies!
  • New item – Scout!
  • New Item – Transporter!
  • New article – Défibro!
  • New Item – Leaf Blower!
  • New item – Rolling Staff!
  • New item – Zero Gravity Staff!
  • New item – Void Staff!
  • Charging Station – Updated look with more space to charge bigger items and more stuff!
  • Map – Now shows level and moon on the UI. You can now also use the card while riding!
  • Player – You can now see your own shadow.
  • Player Hurt Sound – Volume is now significantly reduced if the damage results from healing someone/something else.
  • Player Eyes – No longer looks at grips or grabbed weapons.
  • Map – Now disabled in the Shop, Truck, and Arena.
  • Precious Arctic Snow Bike – New Interactions!
  • Precious Arctic scale – New interactions!
  • Precious Crystal Ball – New Interactions!
  • Precious Star Wand – New Interactions!
  • Precious Flashlight – New Interactions!
  • Precious Cauldron Box – New Interactions!
  • Precious Little Potion – New Interactions!
  • Precious magnifying glass – New interactions!
  • Upgrade Death Head Battery – Does not appear in single player games.
  • Upgrade the number of players on the map – Does not appear in single-player games.
  • Melee Weapons Item – Now swing forward when scrolling forward and backward when scrolling backward. Added a very short delay before they can be fully used after removing them from inventory. Updated swing logic to face the direction you swing more dynamically. Can now also be launched with a large torque!
  • Item Guns – Fixed incorrect gun grab positions while crouching.
  • Drone Items – Beam visuals have now been improved.
  • Main Menu – Now displays (MODDED) next to the version number when playing with mods.
  • Death Head UI – Now moves out of the way when a message is active in the same corner.
  • Overload UI – Now becomes more dynamic as it is filled, to stand out a little more.
  • Truck – Exiting the game in the truck now saves your game and respawns you in the truck when loading the save. The game now saves when you exit the main menu or leave the truck.
  • Player Sprint – Energy consumption while sprinting now scales with acceleration, so you no longer waste energy before reaching your actual sprint speed.
  • Enemy Shadow Child – Now lures players in longer.
  • Enemy Tick – Sucking frequency slows as it increases. Detaches when far enough away from its attached player.
  • Enemy Cleanup Crew – Head now stops moving for a moment after being hit by something.
  • Tumbling Climbing Upgrade – You can now grapple walls in “red” mode, but being forced to tumble disables climbing for a short time. Reduced energy consumption. Increased price.
  • Boltzap Item – Bullets no longer destroy articulated objects.
  • Precious Phone – Decreased ringing frequency. Can now be hung up.
  • Precious Magnifying Glass – More valuable.
  • Inventory – Fixed items sometimes passing through floors/walls when not equipped with the hotbar.
  • Crown – Fixed an issue that did not persist when re-hosting a lobby, and now correctly removed when joining another lobby without restarting the game.
  • Phys Grabber – Fixed the grab beam rapidly flashing for a few seconds when an item is unequipped and equipped too quickly.
  • Enemy Huntsman – Fixed being able to shoot through walls in rare cases.
  • Enemy Elsa – Fixed her not always leaving after being petted.
  • Item Weapons – Fixed a rare issue where weapons could fire without battery.
  • Handgun Item – Fixed an issue where it would spawn with 2 extra ammo.
  • Item Unequip Auto Hold – Fixed setting not working for Pocket Cart.
  • Tumble Climb Upgrade – Fixed fall damage resetting if you slow your fall while climbing.
  • Valuables – Fixed valuable items sometimes taking damage at the start of the level.
  • Precious Crystal – Less wobbly.
  • Truck Healer – Fixed Skulls being reanimated before the healer opens.
  • Extraction Point – Fixed grappling hook not being released when trying to activate a locked extraction point. Tax returns of different sizes will now correctly play the corresponding sound.
  • Camera – Fixed camera smoothing being slower at higher frame rates.
  • Escape Menu – Fixed players not being instantly removed from the list when logging out.
  • Menu Control – Removed the ability to bind “back” and “menu” actions to left-click. Fixed binding not canceling when exiting the controls page.
  • UI – Fixed scrollbars having a small dead zone at the top.
  • Rich Presence – Fixed Steam displaying %levelname% when Rich Presence is disabled. Fixed incorrect update when logging into a lobby.
  • Levels – Various fixes.
