Full list of teams and confirmed dates for the FIFA Football Championship after the qualifiers G Trends

The names of the 48 teams that will participate in the expanded 2026 World Cup tournament to be held in the United States, Canada and Mexico have been confirmed.

The Democratic Republic of the Congo and Iraq were the last teams to reach the tournament, qualifying shortly after Türkiye, Czech Republic, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Sweden won the European qualifiers.

Curacao, Cape Verde, Uzbekistan and Jordan are participating in the World Cup for the first time. Argentina is the defending champion.

Spain are the shortest team, won Euro 2024 in style and could call upon a team that includes 2024 Ballon d’Or winner Rodri and 2025 runner-up Lamine Yamal.
