Elon Musk confirmed that he only became involved in politics because his daughter Vivian Wilson is a transgender woman.

Trump, 79, appointed Elon to head the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) at the start of his second term, but resigned after just 130 days in office due to disagreements over the White House budget.
Meanwhile, Wilson, 22, previously confirmed that she had been estranged from Elon since 2020. Wilson made the announcement in April Cosmopolitan that she no longer cares about her familial connection to Elon.
“There’s not much I can do about it, so who cares?” Wilson argued. “It’s part of my history, but it’s not the future of my history.”
The model and influencer described her upbringing with Elon as a “very strange experience (and) very isolating.”
