Kristen Stewart didn’t let the Cannes Film Festival dress code stop her from showing off some skin.
Stewart, 36, broke protocol and wore a sheer top Full of Phil Photocall during the festival on Saturday, May 16th. For the event, she went braless and wore a Chanel blouse with a plunging neckline, loose collar and delicate pockets. The actress paired the outfit with a sheer gray skirt that exposed her micro shorts.
Stewart’s sexy look comes after the festival banned nude dresses. According to the official website“For reasons of decency, nudity is prohibited on the red carpet and in all other areas of the festival.”
Cannes also banned: “Complete outfits, especially those with a large train, which impede the orderly flow of guests and complicate seating arrangements in the theater are not permitted.” To ensure stars don’t wear nude or voluminous looks, “reception teams are required to ban anyone who doesn’t respect these rules from the red carpet.” The website continued: “For all other performances, appropriate clothing is sufficient.”

Stewart may have been on thin ice again when she turned heads that evening in a red and black Chanel boat-neck dress with crochet details that exposed her black bra and high-waisted underwear. She accessorized with a Chanel watch with a red band and a diamond star ring.
She broke another unofficial Cannes rule by wearing Ruby Brown sneakers instead of heels. Visitors are permitted to wear “elegant” shoes or sandals with or without heels.
As for the glamour, Stewart looked stunning in full swing. She sported dewy skin, filled-in eyebrows, brown eyeshadow blended into the crease, tanned cheeks and long lashes. She matched her dress perfectly to her red lips. Stewart completed her look with an updo for her brunette hair.
