Fox’s latest competition show puts celebrities to the test by finding out who is the “stupidest” of the group.

In Us weekly‘s exclusive first look at The stupidest in the nation, The all-star class, premiering July 15, includes TV personalities Hilaria Baldwin, actress Carmen ElektraActor Anthony Michael HallActor Jon Hedermusician Chase Hudson and rappers Ice T.

Singer-songwriter Elle Kingformer NFL quarterback Matt LeinartTV personality and doctor Drew Pinsky are also part of the group during Donkey star Steve OSinger JoJo Siwa and former presidential candidate Andrew Yang round out the cast.

comedian Jack Whitehall He is seen quizzing the group on topics such as how to spell the word “guarantee,” animal facts, and more. Unfortunately, there were more wrong answers than right answers – as the celebs realized they might just make it to the end and be named “Dumbest in the Nation.”

“Summer School is underway with the debut of Nation’s Dumbest, a new celebrity competition series that turns the traditional format on its head – because this is the only show where winning is the last thing anyone wants,” reads the official synopsis. “Hosted by acclaimed comedian Jack Whitehall, he will cause chaos as participants relive the highlights and indignities of school life – from pop quizzes and report cards to recess and parent-teacher conferences – while trying not to come last.”

The stupidest in the nation is described as “a proven format in multiple international territories that channels celebrities’ inner school spirit as they return to summer school and take on a mix of tricky tasks, fast-paced physical challenges and long-buried classroom knowledge.”

The description concludes: “Each week, the ‘smartest’ celebrities graduate and narrow the field until a high-stakes final exam decides who is left with the award no one wants – the title of ‘The Nation’s Dumbest’.”

The stupidest in the nation is in good company at Fox, which previously started with a celebrity competition show Special Forces: The Toughest Test in the World. The show, which recently concluded its fourth season, premiered in 2023 and had contestants undergo rigorous, military-style training based on actual Special Forces selection processes. They face intense physical and mental challenges aimed at pushing their limits.
