During the premiere of Travis Barker: Love is louder than fear at the Tribeca Film Festival Us weekly Barker, 50, who attended Saturday, June 13, reflected on various struggles he has faced throughout his life, including his fear of flying after surviving a fatal plane crash in 2008 and his struggles with addiction.
For her part, Moakler, 51, appeared to talk about her marriage, which lasted from 2004 to 2008. She recalled Barker making it clear to her that at the height of his addiction he was taking 20 to 30 painkillers a day. Barker also shared how worried others were about him. A guard even watched him to make sure he didn’t die in his sleep.
Moakler was also featured through archival footage from her reality show Meet the Barkers. The former couple’s children – son Landon, 22, daughter Alabama, 20, and Moakler’s daughter Atiana, 27, with whom she shares a residence Oscar De La Hoya – were also featured prominently in the documentary.
According to the official summary Travis Barker: Love is louder than fear follows the musician “as he embarks on a harsh and redemptive journey that began after he survived a devastating plane crash that nearly took his life.”
Barker’s relationship with his current wife Kourtney Kardashian — who was in the audience at Saturday’s premiere — was also documented as the couple reminisced about the early days of their romance.

Barker’s all-rounder featured confessionals in which the musician and 47-year-old Kardashian opened up about a miscarriage for the first time before giving birth to son Rocky.
The couple announced that Kardashian became pregnant six months into their relationship in 2021. They were expecting a baby girl – who they would name Tulip – before Kardashian learned at a three-month doctor’s appointment that her baby no longer had a heartbeat.
“When we lost the baby, we were devastated,” Kardashian said in the documentary. “We cried for days.”
Kardashian detailed the couple’s ongoing efforts to conceive, which included five IVF attempts over an eight-month period. They ultimately decided to pause the process before they could conceive their son Rocky, now 22 months old.
